Today Gaines turned 15 months old. Whew.....that flew by! He has been so much fun these past 15 months. Today he had his 15 month old check-up with Dr. Jones and he did great. He was fascinated with the stethoscope so much that Dr. Jones let him play with it and as he played with it, he imitated everything the doctor had done with it, such as putting it on his chest to listen. So smart! As Dr. Jones would listen to him, Gaines would stare up at him and giggle. He wasn't afraid at all, actually kind of thrilled to be there. He weighed 22 lbs. (20%), was 30 3/8 in. (30%), and had a head the size of 47.8 cm (a big, whopping 75%). We still haven't figured out where he got his BIG (but cute) head from but it only means that he has a BIG brain in there! He got two shots today but did fine with them. Mrs. Judy, the nurse, gave him his very first sucker after the shots were given and he instantly forgot about the pain that he just endured.
