Waiting

This is how our morning begins daily. Below is a picture of Gaines standing looking up at the coffee pot waiting for it to beep when the coffee is ready to tell me that it is H-O-T! That is his big new word. And he even knows what it means and when to use it. He will tell us the fireplace is hot, the stove, our food, his food, his bath water, etc. He is learning more and more each week. He is now running (EVERYWHERE), into everything...literally (Ms. Betty told Nash today she found him sitting in one of our huge Christmas boxes with the decorations), saying words such as hot, daddy and momma, he points at the things he wants, he points to his nose when asked where it is, he barks when we say "what does a puppy say?", he brushes his own teeth and very well, he brushes his hair when you give him a brush and he loves to give kisses and hugs to people and animals, stuffed or real. We are having so much fun watching him grow and learn. Happy Wednesday!
